Jason Poland is a Vermont-based Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) and technology leader with nearly 20 years of experience guiding organizations through IT strategy, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and operational excellence. Throughout his career, he has led enterprise technology initiatives across healthcare, nonprofit, and managed services environments, helping organizations align technology investments with business goals, improve security, and build sustainable technology roadmaps.
A former Advanced Critical Care Technician, Jason brings a unique perspective to IT leadership. His background in Emergency Medical Services shaped his focus on reliability, risk management, rapid response, and mission-critical operations, principles that continue to influence his work with healthcare and community organizations throughout Vermont.
Outside of work, Jason is a private pilot student, musician, and proud owner two of Golden Retrievers. He combines a passion for technology, leadership, and service to help organizations navigate complex technology decisions with confidence and clarity.
