Managed IT
How simpleroute Runs Your Managed IT
Who Managed IT Is For
We work across industries on purpose: manufacturers, medical practices, finance firms and CPAs, legal, construction and trades, town offices, non-profits, and small offices. We do especially well with manufacturing, medical, finance, and CPAs. That is experience, not a gate.
The fit is an organization that wants high-touch IT and is done with slow tickets, a provider that got bought, or a desk that does not know its environment. That holds whether you are close to our Vermont office, elsewhere in New England, or a remote-first team that works with us mostly online.
Where In-House IT Gets Stretched
That is the gap we fill. If you would expect an internal IT person to fix it, own it, or push a vendor to a finish line, that is our job. We have lanes, but we do not hand the problem back and call it out of scope.
How the Desk Works
One Desk, From the Call to the Fix
Call 802-881-0092 Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and a person picks up. There is no AI receptionist and no voicemail tree. After hours, follow the phone prompts to page us.
The people who answer are the same desk that works your tickets, so you are not explaining your network to a new face every time. Process and documentation are how we keep that true as we grow. Automation makes our people faster. It does not stand between you and help.
Proactive IT Management, Planned With You
Monitoring, Maintenance, and Regular Visits
Monitoring, patching, and alert cleanup run in the background so problems get caught before they stop work. Offices get regular on-site visits on a set schedule. Remote-first teams get regular remote reviews of the environment. Alignment engineers work with our strategic advisors on your IT and AI roadmap: what to replace, what to budget for, and which AI tools staff can use with which data. AI helps your people. It does not replace them.
What You Get With Managed IT
We are not the cheapest bid. Most organizations that come to us had a provider that stopped picking up, stopped showing up, or stopped knowing their environment. We would rather earn the work by doing the job an internal IT person would do.

A person. Call 802-881-0092 Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and our staff pick up. There is no AI receptionist and no voicemail tree. After hours, follow the phone prompts to page us.
Our headquarters is in Colchester, Vermont, at 106 Highpoint Center, Suite 400, and most of our clients are in Vermont and New England. We also support remote-first teams that work with us mostly online. They get regular remote environment reviews instead of on-site visits.
Yes, if you have an office. In-office clients get regular on-site visits on a set schedule. Most issues are solved remotely first, and we send someone when the problem needs hands on site.
simpleIT® is a flat monthly rate, so the bill does not change with the number of tickets. Pricing depends on your size, complexity, and the number of users and computers we support, so reach out for a quote built around your organization. We are not the cheapest option. We build the plan around a desk that knows your systems and follows problems through to the end.
We own it. We open the ticket with the vendor, stay on the call, and push it to a fix instead of telling you to call them yourself. That is the job an internal IT person would do, and it is ours.
Often the better fit is co-managed IT, where we work next to your IT lead instead of over them. We can take the routine work, cover vacations, or handle projects. See our co-managed IT services page or call to talk it through.
Most of it, and we own the rest through your vendors. Managed IT covers the help desk, monitoring and patching, servers, workstations, network and firewalls, Microsoft 365, phones, MFA, antivirus and endpoint detection and response (EDR), and SOC monitoring. Backups are designed per organization, and simpleMDR™, compliance work, and AI governance are added when you need them. When a specialist vendor owns a system, like your ERP, EHR, or line-of-business software, we stay on the call with that vendor until it is fixed instead of handing it back to your staff.
The work rarely fits one job description. Servers, security, phones, line-of-business software, and vendor calls land on one or two people, and when they are out, so is the knowledge. Many organizations keep their IT staff and add us for coverage, projects, and the vendor calls. That is co-managed IT. Others hand us the whole environment.
